What Do Valentines Day and Baseball Have To Do With Your Golf Game?

Today maybe be Valentine’s Day, but it is also the
first day for pitchers and catchers to report to Spring

For non-baseball fans, this may not seem as if there is
no relation to your golf game. In actuality, there is a tremendous
amount of connection.

It has to do with the fundamentals.

Think about it. Today, all across Arizona and Florida,
high paid baseball players, who have been playing baseball
for over 20 years, longer in some cases, gather to
work on the fundamentals.

Fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, catching,
running, etc.

To the outside observer, why would these talented players have
to practice the fundamentals?

Because, without the foundation of the fundamentals, their
game and skills erode.

The same holds true for your golf skills and improving or maintaining your
golf game.

The basic fundamentals for projecting a circular object off the ground to a specific target, haven’t changed in 6,000 years. And they won’t change for another 6,000 years.
Everyone gets all lathered up about White Drivers, Plutonium Shafts, Hybrids and whatever else is new and hot.

They think each one of these NEW tools is different and
the old rules don’t apply. Only to find out the same rules always

TaylorMade isn’t the savior, it’s just another tool to project a golf ball.

At the end of the day, your golf swing and short game fundamentals matter more than the technology.

Don’t miss out on this very important point. To do so, is
to risk peril and loss of golf skills.

For those of you who are determined to never miss out on the
fundamentals. To have your own form of ‘Spring Training’ to
